Regular Program :

Preparatory Year - Regular Program

Definition

King Abdulaziz University allows male and female students an opportunity to join the different university faculties and obtain the bachelor degree through the regular system according to the study levels. Furthermore admission into university is according to the vacant seats, student's percentages in the secondary stage or the weighed percentage of students; due to the fact that King Abdulaziz University aspires to graduate qualified national cadres able to mainly contribute in pushing the progress and development wheel.

Admission requirements

1. Holding the Saudi nationality, son of a Saudi mother or a mother of a Saudi son .
2. Holding the general certificate of secondary education or an equivalent certificate either from inside or outside kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
3. The student should obtain approval of his reference to study in case the student works for a public or a private entity.
4. The student (males) should obtain the aptitude test score and for desiring to join the science track only should obtain the achievement test degree.
5. The student (females) should obtain the aptitude test score and the achievement test degree.
6. National Center for Assessment in Higher Education validity period of academic achievement test is five years from the date of the test
7. The student shouldn't be academically dismissed from the university or from any other university. Consequently in case of establishing the student was previously dismissed after being admitted to the university, the student's admission becomes null and void.
8. The university won't admit any student who has drawn his/ her file from the university or from any other educational entity, unless three month period or so elapses after withdrawal before the academic year start.
9. The university won't accept any general certificate of secondary education issued more than 3 years ago.

11. Blind students are excused from National Center for Assessment in Higher Education tests
    

2- Preparatory Year - Parallel Study Program

The student studies through the regular program with the complete study system in the evening period. The student should attend daily according to the registered timetable. The regular program period is one year divided into two semesters where the students studies all the first and second semester subjects according to the track (science, administrative and human tracks) selected by the student during two subsequent semesters on campus or in Rabigh branch.

3- External Study Program :

Definition:

King Abdulaziz University allows the male and female students the opportunity of joining the university; so as to obtain the bachelor degree only via the external study program. The student shall pay 3000 Saudi Riyals (compulsory rehabilitation course fees) for each semester and for four year as of the foundation year. King Abdulaziz University aspires to graduate qualified national cadres able to mainly contribute in pushing the progress and development wheel

the admission requirements

1. The male/ female student shall obtain the Saudi General certificate of secondary education or an equivalent certificate.
2. The male/ female student's GPA in the general certificate of secondary education shall be 60% or more.
3. Date of the general certificate of secondary education shall be 1427/ 1428 H and later.
4.  The student shall obtain approval of the work entity in case of working.

4- Distance Learning Program:

Definition:

King Abdulaziz University allows the male and female students the opportunity of joining the university; so as to obtain the bachelor degree only via the distance learning system. The student shall pay 4000 Saudi Riyals for each semester as of the foundation year, and then the student shall be allowed to contact the lecturer via Internet, where the lectures shall be delivered through the virtual classrooms and the student can contact the lecturer through the electronic discussion

Admission requirements:

1. The students shall obtain the Saudi General certificate of secondary education or an equivalent certificate.
2. The student's GPA in the general certificate of secondary education shall be 60% or more.
3. Date of the general certificate of secondary education shall be 1427/ 1428 H and later.
4.  The student shall obtain approval of the work entity in case of working

Admission mechanism :

1. The students shall fill out the e-application through the university's e-admission gate.
2. The students shall attach the required documents with the application submitted via the internet.
3. The students shall follow the admission stages through the university's e-admission gate.
4. The students shall accept the e-statement of admission to the external study program after reviewing thereof.
5. The nominated students shall pay the admission fees due to the university during the prescribed timeframe.
6. The students shall follow the application website till obtaining the university card number.
7. n case the student accepts the admission nomination, the admission and registration deanship shall send the university card number to the nominated student and all important data of the external study program to UPS center through the express mail selected by the student during the application submission process.
