Abstract : The research evaluates and analyses the system of Leadership Selection in Administrative Theory with concise analyses for some comparative experiences, and thus for introducing a scientific view to be used in selecting leadership on the basis of merit system all over the Kingdom. The research starts by explaining what management meant as a profession in all the administrative degrees and in all its functions, by selecting the persons who are scientifically educated and practically trained to do their work by effectiveness and specialization. The good selection for leadership is done through a study for the various sources that enable to discover who are suitable for the administrative jobs. Thus, it can be done through five basic sources: employers of public administration, employers of public projects, businessmen, military leader ship and specialized professional career for the executives. Job description is the basic and essential element in selecting leadership by specifying the needs of leadership. The methods and references vary in selecting leadership. The most important the personal date, using choices test, the scientific studies suitable for the jobs. data bank, depending on selective advisors and appointment of vice leader.
